L’Or de l’Azur, Miró (taille réelle)

This is a beautiful representation of Miró’s painting “L’Or de l’Azur”. This canvas was painted in 1967. Today, Tapisseries de Flandres offers this work as a high quality woven tapestry. On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the “Pansu” factory, the latter created a unique collection of tapestries based on a selection of Miró’s paintings. In agreement with the Succession Miró, it was necessary to choose the motifs that could be transposed from the canvas to the weaving while preserving the strength of the colours and the purity of the lines.
