Tapestry Chambord
Reproduction of an extract from a tapestry suite commissioned by Georges William, in the 18th century. It was destined for his home in England.
The motif was designed by Jean Germain Soufflot and Maurice Jacques. L’ was woven in the Ateliers de Jacques of Jacques Neilson at the Manufacture des Gobelins between 1764 and 1771.
Lined tapestry woven on Jacquard looms in northern France, with certificate of authenticity.
