Description

Tapestry woven from late 18th-century paintings. Together with the portière bouquet, they were destined for the Hotel Crillon in Paris. The hangings depict a statue of Cupid and a bouquet surrounded by garlands of flowers.

Jacquard tapestry made in the north of France. Lined and with a loop on the back, this tapestry, like all our tapestries, is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
