L’arbre fruitier and L’orage tapestries
These two wall tapestries are extracts from Angers’ famous Apocalypse hangings. Originally woven in the late 14th century by Nicolas Bataille from cartoons by Hennequin de Bruges for Duke Louis 1er d’Anjou, the tapestries are now available for purchase.
Here, these reproductions are woven in France at Le Point des Meurins, on Jacquard looms.
