This tapestry is a reproduction of Vassily Kandinsky’s 1929 work “For and Against”. This work is aclassic abstract painting composed of geometric shapes.

This Russian artist (1866 – 1944) is considered one of the greatest of the 20th century. He was a painter, engraver, art theorist, poet and playwright. He became a naturalized German, Ukrainian and French citizen.
